Semis collide early Sunday in southwest Kansas city
MINNEOLA, Kan. (WIBW) - A pair of semitrailers collided early Sunday in Clark County in southwest Kansas, officials said.
The crash was reported at 12:37 a.m. Sunday on US-54 highway in the city of Minneola. The location in Minneola was at Front and Maple streets.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2023 Freightliner semitrailer was traveling east as it entered Minneola at a high rate of speed.

As it entered a curve in the roadway, the Freightliner rolled onto its driver’s side, the patrol said.
As it was coming to a stop, it was struck by a 2023 Volvo semitrailer in the westbound lane of the roadway.
The driver of the Freightliner, Yu Liu, 40, of Jurupa Valley, California, was transported to Minneola Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The driver of the Volvo, Sukhraj Singh, 29, of Fresno, California, was also taken to Minneola Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The patrol said both drivers were alone in their vehicles and that both were wearing their seat belts.
