WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - FactFinder is warning of a new look toll scam text going around to make sure you don’t fall for it.

The text message starts off with a “final notice” warning saying that you still have unpaid tolls and enforcement will begin soon.

The scam says failure to pay the toll fee will result in several consequences: suspension of license by the DMV, face legal action with damage to your credit and may be considered an illegal driver.

The message then instructs you to pay before that enforcement begins by providing a fake link to click on.

FactFinder advises to not click on the link and do not respond to the text.
