TPD investigating fatal shooting near Downtown Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police are investigating a homicide near Downtown Topeka.

Officers are on scene at the intersection SW 13th and Western Ave. Calls for shots fired in the area came in around 9:30 p.m. Monday night. Officers found one person wounded, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
