Train Catches Fire In Chase County

STRONG CITY, Kan. -- A train car caught fire Thursday afternoon in Chase County.

The sheriff's office said it happened around 4:30 p.m., about a half mile west of Strong City.

The BNSF train was crossing a bridge over Fox Creek when one of its cars caught fire.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
