Topeka Man Jailed For Stolen Car And IED

HOLTON, Kan. (WIBW)-- A Topeka man is behind bars Friday morning after he was caught driving a stolen car.

Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse told 13 NEWS that 39-year-old Justin Christopher White of Topeka was arrested after being pulled over near 134th and "O" road in rural Jackson County Thursday afternoon.

Officials said that White was in a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta that had been reported stolen June 22nd.

Morse said law enforcement removed items believed to be improvised explosive devices from the car.

White has been booked into the Jackson County Jail on multiple charges including possession of stolen property, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and criminal possession of an explosive device.

Bond for White is pending.
