UPDATED: Roads Closed By Flooding In NE Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Department of Transportation has released updates on roads closed due to flooding as of Saturday Morning

K-87 from the K-9 junction south to the Village of Vilets in Marshal County Closed due to high flood waters over roadways

K-116 east of Larkinburg at Atchison/Jackson county line Open to all traffic

K-192> Over Stranger creek in Easton (Leavenworth County) is CLOSED

K-18 over Deep Creek in Riley County NOW OPEN one lane each way.

K-116 east of Larkinburg at the Atchison/Jackson County line is STILL CLOSED due to high #flood waters over the roadway.

Several roads in Oketo Have flooded roads due to 1.5" of rain that fell Saturday morning

If a road or highway is closed or has standing water use alternate routes until further notice.

13 NEWS will let you know when the roadways are fully reopened to all traffic.

Remember, do not attempt to drive through flooded or high water on roadways. TURN AROUND. DON’T DROWN!
