TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ A celebration on strength has seen ten years of a tradition that has people rolling in for empowerment.
Bridgid Schwilling was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Kansas 2014 Sunday afternoon at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.
Ms Schwilling hails from Leavenworth, KS and accepted the crown from the 2013 winner Angel Shaver.
Every contestant had a platform they were passionate about.
Ms. Schwilling's is finding a purpose through adversity.
Congratulations to Bridgid, who now represents Kansas at the national competition.
