Hi-Crest shooting suspect set for Nov. court date

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A motions hearing has been set for a man accused in a July shooting in the Hi-Crest neighborhood.

The hearing has been set for Nov. 2 for Ralfeal Carr.

Carr is accused of shooting Royale Miller in the leg on July 17 at SE Humbolt and Irvingham.

He is charged with aggravated battery, reckless criminal discharge of a firearm and fleeing police.

A four day jury trial is set for January.
