KHP high-speed chase ends in crash and rollover

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Highway Patrol took 3 suspects into custody after a chase and rollover Tuesday morning.

KHP Trooper Stephen Larow told 13 NEWS that the chase began on I-70 near MacVicar in Topeka after an officer tried to stop a car for a possible registration violation.

Larow says the suspect vehicle sped off with KHP in pursuit.
The chase continued on Highway 24 and when the driver tried to avoid stop stix at Humphrey

Road, the car veered into a ditch and rolled over.

Two men and a woman were in the car and one man was taken to a Topeka hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
