JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) - A Junction City minister will spend more than 24 years in prison for a child sex abuse scandal.

25-year-old Jordan Young was sentenced Monday to 294 months in prison, or 24 and a half years. He was also sentenced to a lifetime of post-release supervision and he must register as a lifetime sex offender.

In November, Young pleaded to one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and four counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Young was serving as the music minister at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church when the allegations emerged. Authorities say the crimes took place over several years at the church, the church's school and elsewhere.
