TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Almost two dozen gambling devices are set to be destroyed after being seized from Kansas businesses.

23 illegal gambling devices, taken from six different businesses, were hauled off to be recycled Thursday.

13 of the machines came from two businesses in Salina and the remaining ten were confiscated from four businesses in El Dorado.

The machines were seized during investigations over the past 13 months.

Officials from the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission say that people with serious gambling and financial problems and even children are victims affected by this type of illegal gambling.
