WICHITA, Kan (KAKE)-- A Wichita State basketball player has been given diversion in a DUI case. Conner Frankamp appeared in Wichita municipal court Monday afternoon.
The diversion program includes fines, participating in an intervention program and a DUI victim's impact panel. If Frankamp completes all the steps in the diversion program the charged will be dismissed after one year.
Frankamp was arrested in January while driving on Kellogg near Maize Road. His blood alcohol level was more than two times the legal limit.
Frankamp is the all-time scoring leader in the Wichita City League. He joined WSU after playing his freshman season at Kansas.
Attorney Robb Hunter said Frankamp wanted to take responsibility for his actions and move forward.
