Copper Thieves Strike Topeka Beer Distributor

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Police are on the look out for copper thieves who struck a local beer distributor.

The Topeka Capital-Journal is reporting that copper thieves stole $100,00 worth of copper from Topeka's Anheuser-Busch distributor, Strathman Sales.

The theft happened between 2:00 a.m. March 28th and 4:15 p.m. April 4th.

$60,000 of copper was taken from an air conditioning system, the remaining $40,000 in losses came from miscellaneous copper.

Authorities report that there was no signs of forced entry.
