Armed Robbery At Manhattan Grocery Store

The Riley Co. Police Dept. is investigating a robbery at a Manhattan grocery store on Wednesday.

Several officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Ray's Apple Market. 222 N. 6th Street.

Police say say two subjects, one brandishing a handgun, entered the grocery store and were able to flee the area with U.S. currency a short time later.

The amount of stolen money is not being released. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
