First Annual Topeka Flights For Cancer

The battle against cancer also took to the skies was the first annual Topeka Flights for Cancer.

Five dollars was all it took for people to hop in a teathered hot air balloon and enjoy the views.

Also - the Great Plains Balloon Club donated a full balloon flight for raffle. To get in organizers asked for a 10 dollar donation.

All the money raised goes to cancer research through the Lance Armstrong foundation and the american cancer society.

The group raised more than $800.00 in just a few hours for Cancer research.
