Topeka (WIBW) - A Topeka school is dealing with the H1N1 virus.
Cair Paravel School sent a note to parents Wednesday. It tells them a middle school student has a lab-confirmed case of H1N1. It also says a kindergarten student is suspected to have the virus.
They remind parents, as health officials are telling everyone, to make sure kids wash their hands often. Students with symptoms like a cough, sore throat, body aches or chills should stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours.
