Superintendent: Horton teacher in Facebook rant not suspended

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- 13 NEWS previously reported on a Horton teacher who took to Facebook with a vivid opinion of President Obama's executive action to increase gun control.

Superintendent Steven Davies said as of now the teacher, Alisa Britt, has not been suspended.

Davies also told 13 NEWS the board is set to meet Monday to discuss personnel issues-- he would not say if Britt's name will be brought up.

In the now deleted post-- Britt posted that people criticizing the President are brainwashed and morons.

She went on to say 'you are the ones who deserve to have your children shot, or your sibling, or your spouse, or the kid next door who never hurt anyone'.

13 News will continue to follow this story and keep you updated.
