The 19-0 Ichabods (7-0 in MIAA) settled at number nine in the sixth weekly release of the national poll.
The top 10 ranking comes after Washburn took down then-No. 18 Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State on the road this weekend. The Ichabods climbed four places since last week's poll and reeled in one first-place vote.
Washburn is in good company as the MIAA has three other member-institutions among the top 25: No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney, No. 16 Central Missouri and No. 19 Central Oklahoma.
Northwest Missouri State is also receiving votes.
The Ichabods next match is on Friday at 6pm at Missouri Southern. The squad then turns around and faces Southwest Baptist on Saturday at 2pm, which marks the end of their six-match road slate.
