TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- After a 3-0 weekend, the Washburn volleyball team is now back in the AVCA Top 10.

The Ichabods secured road wins against Emporia State, Fort Hays State and then-No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney to jump four spots from No. 11 to No. 7 on Monday.

This is Washburn's 115th appearance in the Top 10, and matches the program's highest position since the week three release in 2015.

The Ichabods are now 25-1 on the year and 13-1 in the MIAA, and have swept the series with UNK, resulting in the No. 6 Lopers only two losses of their season.

The MIAA saw four member institutions in the Top 25, including UNK, No. 14 Central Oklahoma and No. 15 Central Missouri.

Northwest Missouri State is currently receiving votes, and is Washburn's lone loss of the season.
