TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Washburn took care of business at home on Saturday against Northeastern State.
The Ichabods routed the winless RiverHawks 58-14. Washburn's 58 points were the most it's scored all season.
Mitch Schurig threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Ichabods gashed on the ground, rushing for 352 yards and five touchdowns.
Washburn held Northeastern State to 166 total yards, which included -4 rushing yards.
The Ichabods will take on Missouri Southern State next on Oct. 13 for their Homecoming game.
