(WIBW) - When TCU comes to visit Kansas State on Oct. 19, the Wildcats could be facing a former quarterback of theirs.

The Horned Frogs named Alex Delton their starting signal caller for their opening game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff this Saturday. TCU head coach Gary Patterson also said true freshman Max Duggan will see early playing time, but Delton will lead the way.

The former Wildcat split starting time with Skylar Thompson at K-State last season. In seven games, Delton threw for 554 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 55% of his passes. He also rushed for 234 yards with two touchdowns.
