(WIBW) - After getting familiar with a few former Jayhawks this offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly bringing on a former Kansas State star.

Multiple outlets are reporting the Lakers are signing Michael Beasley. ESPN is reporting the deal is for one year at $3.5 million.

Beasley will be entering his 11th season in the NBA. Last year, he played in 74 games for the New York Knicks, averaging 13.2 points in 22.3 minutes per game.

The former Wildcat, who was the second overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, will be joining his seventh different NBA team.
