(WIBW) - The Big 12's leading rusher for 2018 might have went undrafted. But Alex Barnes is still getting his NFL chance.

According to multiple reports from outlets like NFL Network and the Houston Chronicle, the former Kansas State running back has signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Tennessee Titans. Barnes declared early for the NFL Draft after his junior season.

It was a breakout campaign that featured a conference-leading 1,355 yards for the All-Big 12 First Team member. The Kansas native also added 12 touchdowns on the ground and averaged 5.3 yards per carry. He finished his KSU career with the second-most 100-yard rushing games in program history (12).

Barnes even stood out at the NFL Combine. He showed off his strength by putting up 34 bench press reps, the most of any running back at the event and the fourth-most of any prospect there.
