(WIBW) - The Royals announced multiple roster moves on Friday.

Pitcher Brandon Maurer is now a free agent after rejecting an outright assignment to Triple-A Omaha. In 63 games in Kansas City, he had a record of 2-6 with a 7.89 ERA.

Meanwhile, outfielder Paulo Orlando and infielder Ramón Torres will become minor-league free agents after Kansas City sent them outright to Triple-A.

The club reinstated three players from the 60-day disabled list: infielder Cheslor Cuthbert, outfielder Jorge Soler and right-handed pitcher Jesse Hahn.

Kansas City's Major League Reserve List now has 37 players.
