Manhattan coaching legend Lew Lane passes away

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- On Sunday, Manhattan High School football coaching great Lew Lane passed away after suffering a stroke some time in the previous week.

Lane coached the Indians for nearly two decades, winning a state title in 1988 and making four appearances in the state title game.

In October of 2015, the field at Bishop Stadium was named after Lane.

Funeral services have not yet been set.
