Lady 'Cats fall 54-52 at home against TCU

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Trailing by two-points with two seconds left, an entry pass to Ayoka Lee was deflected, forcing an Angela Harris heave that ultimately fell short. The Wildcats lose 54-52.

Kansas State held a three-point lead with 3 minutes remaining, but failed to score another field goal for the remainder of the game.

Lee had one of her best statistical outings. The freshmen center logged 22 points, 17 rebounds and blocked 6 shots. Peyton Williams almost put up a double-double as well. Williams scored 9 points, hauled in 13 rebounds and led the team in assists with 5.

Kansas State is now 12-12 overall and 6-7 in Big 12 play.

Next up, the Lady 'Cats will play the Texas Longhorns Saturday, Feb. 22. Tip off is at 12:00 p.m.
