LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas City Star first reports that Kansas football player Corione Harris has been suspended indefinitely. This comes after Harris has been charged with multiple felonies.
Harris was arrested Jan. 19 in South Howell County. Online court documents say Harris faces two felonies. The first felony charge alleges that Harris was in "Delivery Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or Less Of Marijuana Or Synthetic Cannabinoid." The second felony alleges "Unlawful Use Of Weapon."
Harris spent a day in jail, and was released after posting a $7,500 bond.
An initial appearance has been scheduled for Feb. 10 at Howell County Circuit Court.
