KU football's Malcolm Lee arrested on suspicion of DUI

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - KU police arrested Jayhawk football player Malcolm Lee on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Douglas County Jail booking log.

The log states the arrest happened at 1034 Mississippi St. on July 20 at 2:45 a.m. Lee, 20, was released on bond.

KU athletics did not immediately respond to a request seeking comment for this story. A spokesperson told the Lawrence Journal-World that KU is aware of the situation and gathering information.

Lee transferred to Kansas this summer and is a member of Les Miles' first Jayhawk signing class. The Omaha, Neb., native is a defensive tackle who last played at Iowa Western Community College.
