NORMAN, Okla. (WIBW) - In a double-digit loss on the road to the sixth-ranked team in the country, most will probably be talking about a Jayhawk freshman.

Pooka Williams electrified in a 55-40 loss for Kansas at No. 6 Oklahoma, breaking a KU freshman record for rushing yards in a single game with 252. He rushed for two touchdowns and even threw one.

As impressive as he was, Sooner star quarterback Kyler Murray was able to counter. Murray totaled 371 yards with five total touchdowns, putting the game away in the fourth quarter with a 75-yard scamper for a score to give Oklahoma a 41-24 lead.

The Jayhawks' 40 points were the most they have scored in a Big 12 game under David Beaty. They have now lost 14 straight meets with the Sooners and seven of their last eight games.
