KU and K-State combine for two draft picks, two undrafted signings

ARLINGTON, Texas (WIBW) -- For the 25th year in a row, the Kansas State Wildcats had a player taken in the NFL Draft.

Cornerback D.J. Reed was taken in the 5th round (142nd overall) by San Francisco.

Kansas defensive lineman Dorance Armstrong was taken in the 4th round (116th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys.

After going undrafted, former Wildcat receiver Byron Pringle was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Former KU tight end Ben Johnson was signed by the Los Angeles Chargers
