KU's Jalen WIlson recovers from surgery to repair broken ankle

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - Earlier today, Kansas men's basketball freshmen underwent surgery to repair a broken ankle. Coach Bill Self has said that Wilson was expected to miss at least 3 months.

Wilson suffered the injury in the first half of the Jayhawks second game of the season against UNCG.

The freshmen forward posted on Twitter a picture of him post-surgery. "Thank you everyone!! The support From Jayhawks everywhere has been truly a blessing!!" Wilson said in the Twitter post.

A four-star talent according to ESPN, Wilson was the highest rated recruit in KU's most recent freshmen class.
