Isaiah Zuber to transfer from Kansas State
Kansas State will be losing its leading wide receiver from last season.
The school confirmed on Wednesday that Isaiah Zuber has entered his name into the transfer portal. ESPN's Cole Cubelic first reported the news.
Zuber led the Wildcats in receptions (52), receiving yards (619) and receiving touchdowns (5) in 2018. No other KSU receiver broke the 40-catch or 600-yard mark. He was also the only pass-catcher to have more than two touchdown catches.
The speedster also was the primary kick and punt returner for Kansas State last season. Zuber averaged 17.8 yards per punt return and 16.3 yards per kick return, while adding a punt-return touchdown in 2018.
He departs Manhattan in a tie for eighth in school history with 127 career receptions. The receiver had 1,321 yards and 11 touchdown catches for his KSU career.
