Heartland Park celebrates 30th year of racing with event-filled weekend

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- If you don't have any fun weekend plans, don't worry--Heartland Motorsports Park has you covered.

HMP is celebrating its 30th year of racing this weekend with a big variety of events for the whole family. Events include appearances by the Midwest Pro Mod Series, Diesel Motorsports trucks, drift cars, a semi-truck show, a burnout contest and Heartland Park's bracket series.

Events will conclude Saturday evening after dark with a fireworks show.

The gates will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday with the races starting at 9 a.m. General admission tickets for Saturday are $25, while military members and seniors 62-years and older are $22. Children 12 and under will be admitted for free.
