(WIBW) - Former Washburn star men's basketball player Javion Blake continues to span the globe.
The guard has signed a pro contract to go play in Denmark's top league after shining in Australia. Blake is joining the Copenhagen Wolfpack after playing with the Kalamunda Eastern Suns.
"Proud and very happy for J," Ichabod men's head coach Brett Ballard said in a release. "He put up big numbers and played great in Australia and I know he will use that as a springboard to play well in Denmark!"
In the Australia State League, Blake averaged 25.2 points, 8.7 assists and 4.6 rebounds a game while shooting 39 percent from three-point range in 16 games.
As a senior at Washburn, Blake was a first team all-MIAA selection and a second team D2CCA all-region selection after averaging 19.7 points per game with 4.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.
