Former Frankfort star Emilee Ebert signs with K-State women's hoops
A late recruiting change has a Flint Hills star staying in the area.
Former Frankfort hoops standout Emilee Ebert signed with Kansas State women's basketball on Tuesday. Ebert had previously been committed to Missouri State.
"We are excited to add Emilee to our roster for the upcoming season," Wildcat head coach Jeff Mittie said in a release. "She had an excellent career at Frankfort and has great upside for the college game."
Ebert had a historic career at Frankfort, becoming the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,648 career points. She was a four-time Kansas Basketball Coaches Association nominee, garnering first-team accolades for her final two high school seasons.
She wasn't just a basketball standout though. Ebert also was a member of the volleyball and track and field teams.
As a volleyball player, she was a three-time 1A All-State First-Team honoree. This past season on the track, Ebert was the Class 1A state champion in the long jump and helped set the 4x100 state record with a time of 50.44.
