ABILENE. Kan. (KWCH) -- Former Kansas State men's basketball player Dean Wade really made the day for one young fan in Abilene, sending him a basketball jersey and autographs from the team.

Wade mailed the jersey after finding a Twitter video of the boy crying during the NCAA tournament. The boy had been upset because he realized Wade was graduating after this season.

The boy's mother, Laressa Nordgren, thanked Wade for the jersey on Twitter. She says, despite not being a Wildcat anymore- her son is a fan for life.
