(WIBW) -- The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Kansas State offensive lineman Abdul Beecham to a rookie free agent contract.
Beecham was signed after participating in the team's rookie minicamp and regular minicamp last week.
With the Wildcats, Beecham played in 33 career games, starting 29 at guard.
Beecham was a major part of KSU's offensive line, which helped the team finish third in the Big 12 in rushing in 2018. He also started all 13 games in 2017 when the Wildcats tied for third in school history in yards per carry with 4.98.
With the signing, Beecham joins former Kansas State wide receiver Byron Pringle on the Chiefs roster and becomes the fourth Wildcat to enter the NFL following the 2018 season.
