Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill tears ACL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) - Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed reports that safety Juan Thornhill suffered a torn ACL. The dynamic rookie defender will miss the Chiefs upcoming postseason run. He suffered the injury during Kansas City's final game against the Chargers.

Thornhill was a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He started all 16 games for KC. He logged 58 tackles, three interceptions and a touchdown in a stand out rookie season.
