KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) -- According to a report by KCTV5, Tyreek Hill has gotten engaged to the mother of his son.

Hill told reporters this on Friday in the locker room after winning the NFLPA Community MVP award.

This is the same woman who said he choked her and punched her in the face and in the stomach while she was his girlfriend and was pregnant in December of 2014.

At the time, Hill was a student at Oklahoma State. He pleaded guilty to the charges of domestic assault and battery in 2015, and the judge deferred Hill’s sentence for three years.

Hill has completed years-long anger management courses and a program for batterers during the three years since then. He also paid a fine and, in 2017, started paying child support.

Hill’s domestic assault and battery charges were dismissed and expunged in August of this year.
