NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WIBW) - The Chicago Bears drafted Kansas State's Duke Shelley on Saturday.
Shelley, a cornerback, got taken with the 205th overall pick in the sixth round. He is the second former Wildcat to be drafted this year after the Denver Broncos selected offensive lineman Dalton Risner in the second round on Friday.
At K-State, Shelley started 37 games over four years. The Big 12 Coaches gave him Second-Team All-Big 12 honors last season after he finished it with three interceptions and 12 passes defended.
For his career, the Georgia native finished with eight interceptions, taking two back for touchdowns. He also had 165 tackles with seven tackles for loss in four seasons.
