1 lb. box frozen puff pastry, thawed
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
½ tsp. lemon zest
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
Kosher salt, to taste
DirectionsOn a lightly floured work surface, place one sheet of puff pastry; roll out slightly using rolling pin. Place a large dinner plate onto puff pastry to use as a pattern; cut around dinner plate using a butter knife. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine butter with garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and thyme; season with salt to taste.
Spread half of the butter mixture over puff pastry circle; cut circle into 8 wedges. Carefully roll up each wedge of buttered puff pastry dough, starting at the wide end. Repeat with second sheet of puff pastry and remaining half of butter mixture. Arrange the crescents onto an ungreased baking sheet and chill for about 30 minutes.
Bake, uncovered, in preheated 400 degree F. oven for 10-15 minutes, or until crescents are golden brown and are well risen.
