1 pkg. frozen sliced peaches, thawed
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon sweetener, to taste, and:
crumbled gingersnaps or toasted coconut, for garnish
DirectionsPlace spices in sauce pan over medium heat and bloom to release essence. (Spices are 'bloomed' once you can smell their aroma!) Add peaches and applesauce to spices in sauce pan and cook until heated throughout. Remove from heat and stir in sweetener, to taste.
Serve warm peaches topped with crumbled gingersnaps or toasted coconut (or both!) as garnish. This dessert will warm you from top to toes and is wonderful in the cold of winter when the days are dreary and dark. Enjoy them! Signed, Jeaneane Chance (Chef Alli's Mom!)
