Each participant had a one on one interview with the judges, then modeled their casual and evening wear showcasing their confidence.

All participants went home with a two foot trophy.

Miss November is in the month of Thanksgiving, because "we should all be thankful for what we have," Beverly Bernardi Post says.

The pageant is to allow everyone to give their best, whether they are a size 0 or larger, a girl or boy , everyone becomes Miss November.

"There was no first, second, third, they all received a two foot high trophy and they felt terrific about themselves. It's a confidence builder, a self esteem builder," Owner and Director of Beverly Bernardi Post explained.

"I just hope they feel good about themselves. I hope they feel leaving thinking, I was beautiful, I had a wonderful day, I had fun and look what I did, I walked in front of judges and got to strut my stuff," Post emphasized.

Many participants came from around the state of Kansas, from Manhattan, Emporia, Kansas City, Lawrence, and St. Louis.
