Woman found dead in Junction City hotel

A woman was found dead in a Junction City hotel Sunday afternoon.

She was reportedly staying at the Super 8 motel, 1133 S Washington St., when officers went there to check on her welfare shortly after 3:00 p.m.

When they went into Room 217, they found she had already died, police said.

Investigators don't believe her death was criminal in nature. They are conducting a complete investigation though. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
