When you've been on the air as long as WIBW-TV has been, you eventually see some of your experienced reporters and anchors heading to larger markets over the years.. and some even make it to the network level.
Ralph Hipp visits Kansas City and the newsroom of 41 Action News at KSHB-TV for a chat with two of our former morning news anchors and hosts, Lindsay Shively and Sarah Plake. They reminisce about their 3 years each with us, and working with co-hosts Dave Johnson and Chris Fisher.
Former weekend anchor Amy Hawley also left 13 News to become a reporter and weekend anchor for KSHB. One of Dave Johnson's co-anchors, Rhiannon Ally (remember her?) married WIBW-TV reporter Mike Marusarz, and they are both the main evening news anchors for 41 Action News too!
