Westbound I-70 at K99 re-opens after trailer overturned in Wabaunsee Co.

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW) -- According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Dispatch an over-sized load trailer overturned just before 10:30 Sunday morning.

Westbound lanes on I-70 at K99 near mile marker 325 were shut down. The Kansas Department of Transportation was on scene and directed traffic. It has since re-opened to traffic.

The trailer was traveling on I-70 Wabaunsee County when it overturned. It was lying across both lanes. KHP says high winds played a role in this incident.

No injuries were reported.
