TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Stormont Vail hosts their annual "Welcome Baby Jubilee on Sunday, providing mothers everything they need to prepare for their newborns.
The 'baby jubilee' gives families a look at the Stormont Vail birthplace, breastfeeding center, and neonatal intensive care unit.
Families also had the opportunity to speak with professionals and take tours of the hospitals delivery services.
Many mothers say they appreciate this advantage.
"The opportunity to look through the department , they get to see a labor room, a postpartum room, they get to look at the breastfeeding center," Ashley Seematter, Registered Nurse of Stormont Vail said. "They get to meet some of the staff, it's always nice to see a familiar face when you come in during the delivery process."
Local businesses and organizations were in attendance to share information on their products and services.
