TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) — Every week, for 16 years, we’ve been featuring kids who need to be adopted. We call them our Wednesday’s Children. This week, we meet Christian.
This 12-year old is a great kid, who likes to play and just stay busy.
“I play video games, draw and go outside,” said Christian. “I also like to go places and do things with friends.”
He’ll get to see those friends more often when school begins in a couple of weeks. Christian will be in the seventh grade and tells us his favorite subject is math. Teachers have also told him he’s good at reading.
Christian also wants to get involved in sports. He’d like to play for his school teams. Football is his favorite sport. In fact, he’d like to be a professional football player one day.
But until he plays on Sunday, he hopes to be adopted. He has definite ideas about the family that would fit him the best.
“I don’t want any alcohol in the house. And I’d like to live with a family who has other kids, a swimming pool and lots of video games,” said Christian. “I just want an active family who will care about me.”
