Wamego water tower wins two national awards

Wamego has the best-looking water tower in the country!
Tnemec Company announced Wamego’s water tower won both People’s Choice and Tank of the Year.
“The tank has over 8 different vibrant color and the design is truly a work of art," Classic Protective Coatings' Heather Bauer explained.
The brightly colored tower was entered in the Tnemec Water Tank of the Year contest. Tnemec is a nationwide company that specializes in high-performance coatings and linings.
Runners up in the competition was Campbell, MO, Columbus, OH, Farmers Branch , TX, Gulf Breeze, FL, Camden, AL, West Palm Beach, FL, Apple Valley, CA, Sammamish, WA, Punxsutawney, PA, Clinton, MS, and Maxville, ON.
