WEEK AHEAD: Free Shred Day and a Juneteenth Festival!

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Looking for fun? There's lots to do in the week ahead!

Monday--Friday, June 14, may be Flag Day, but all week is National Flag Week! Show you pride and fly the American Flag high from June 10th until June 15th.

Tuesday--Eric Ives takes you just a hop and a jump down Highway 24 to Froggy's Restaurant in St. Mary's where leaving hungry isn't an option! You can learn more about the eatery on Fork in The Road at 5 p.m.

Wednesday--Show your support for the community at the Topeka Performing Arts Center during a Day of Giving! Local non-profits will all gather to accept donations from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Thursday--K-State Alumni Jordy Nelson will celebrate all star high school athletes during the Best of Kansas Preps! The event is open to the public at Kansas Expocentre. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $50.

Friday--The Silver Lake Bank will host a free shred day! Get rid of the business documents quickly and safely. The shredding is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 201 NW US Highway 24. There is a limit of 5 boxes per customer.

Saturday--The Juneteenth Festival is fun for all ages! Head over to the Hillcrest Community Center from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. for food, fun and games. Admission to the event is free.
